QD Taper Lock Bushings

QD bushings are used in conjunction with qd pulleys.  The bushing fits into the hub of the pulley and it is what locks the pulley firmly onto the shaft. 
Choosing the correct bushing type is important and the pulley number tells the type of bushing goes with it.  For example:  1B50SDS pulley - the 'SDS' tells the type of bushing that matches too it; an 'SDS' bushing,

So if you have a 1" shaft that you are wanting to mount the pulley onto, then you would purchase a SDS 1" bushing.
